Meet your Egyptologist guide at your hotel and travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Plateau to begin your sightseeing.

Start your morning at the Great Pyramids of Giza, where you will see the three main pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World; the Pyramid of Khafre, recognizable by the remaining casing stones near its summit; and the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three main pyramids. You will have time to explore the exterior areas, visit panoramic viewpoints, and take photographs overlooking the plateau.

Continue to the Valley Temple of Khafre, an important part of the king's pyramid complex. Built from massive limestone blocks, it was associated with purification and funerary rituals connected with the king's burial.

You will then continue to the Great Sphinx, where you can enjoy close exterior views and photo opportunities. The iconic limestone monument features the body of a lion and the head of a king and is traditionally associated with Pharaoh Khafre.

After completing your Giza visits, you will travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to a carefully selected local restaurant, where you will enjoy lunch before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Following lunch, you will continue by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) for an afternoon guided visit.

Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Officially opened in November 2025, the Grand Egyptian Museum is dedicated to ancient Egyptian civilization from prehistory through the Greek and Roman periods. You will explore its galleries and discover monumental statues, royal treasures, and thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the Tutankhamun Galleries, which display more than 5,000 objects from the young king's tomb.

After completing your museum visit, you will return by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Helpful Hint: Morning visits usually offer comfortable conditions and excellent opportunities for photography around the pyramids. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are recommended.

After breakfast, you will meet your Egyptologist guide at your hotel before traveling north toward Alexandria by private air-conditioned vehicle.

Upon arrival in Alexandria, you will begin your sightseeing at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an underground necropolis dating mainly to the Roman period. You will explore its carved chambers and unique blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic traditions.

You will then continue by private air-conditioned vehicle to Pompey’s Pillar, one of Alexandria's most recognizable Roman monuments. The massive granite column was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian and stands among the remains of the ancient Serapeum.

From there, you will continue to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern library and cultural complex built near the site traditionally associated with the ancient Library of Alexandria. You will see its striking contemporary architecture and learn about Alexandria's long intellectual heritage.

Around midday, you will stop at a carefully selected local restaurant for lunch before continuing your sightseeing.

After lunch, you will travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Citadel of Qaitbay,, a 15th-century fortress built on Alexandria's Mediterranean waterfront. It occupies the historic location traditionally associated with the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria and offers beautiful views over the sea.

After completing your visits, you will begin the return journey to Cairo by private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Helpful Hint: Alexandria can be cooler and windier than Cairo, particularly during the winter months, so bringing a light jacket is recommended.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time before leaving for the airport.

At the appropriate time, you'll be transferred to Cairo International Airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Assistance will be provided through departure procedures before your journey home begins.
